Early in the morning on April 15, Washington Township Fire companies as well as the Tri-County Fire Company (Mansfield) were dispatched to 9 River Road for a Brush Fire. Tri-County Fire units were the first on scene followed by Long Valley Engine 1-1 and then Schooleys Mountain Engine 3-2. The fire was contained to a 30 foot by 5 foot area and crews left within an hour.
