At 04:45am on March 22nd, Washington Township Fire Companies, Long Valley First Aid, Califon Fire (RIC), Chester Fire (RIC), and Pottersville Fire (Tender) responded to a house fire on Fairmount road. The fire was located in the attic and then extended through the roof. Crews quickly knocked the fire and vented the roof before more damage could occur. All units cleared by 6:00am
