Lunchtime Entrapment

Last week, Long Valley Fire was dispatched to a 3 car motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Once on scene, crews assisted the Long Valley First Aid Squad with extrication of the patient and removed all hazards from the roadway.

Long Valley Engines assist Fairmount

Just before 3pm this afternoon, Washington Twp Fire Companies were dispatched into the Fairmount section of town for a vehicle fire. Long Valley Engines 1-1 and 1-2 assisted Fairmount Fire crews with overhaul.

Fire Scorches Schooleys Mountain

Washington Twp Fire Companies and the First Aid Squad responded to a brush fire, under the power lines, off Knob Hill Road at 1503 hours. No structures were damaged. Mutual aid was received by Budd Lake Fire, Tri-County Fire, and the NJ State Forest Fire.

5 Alarm Brush Fire in Lebanon Twp

At 11:46pm last night, Washington Twp Fire Companies were requested into Lebanon Twp for the 5th alarm brush fire. Long Valley Engine 1-2 was tasked with setting up a draft site off Califon Road for water shuttle operations. Engine 1-2 returned to service in approximately 4 hours.
