Holiday Fire Safety

The Long Valley Fire Company wishes everyone a safe Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Candles and Christmas trees are a traditional part of the holiday season. But, during the holiday season, the rate of house fires increases dramatically. Unattended candles and Christmas trees can ignite and significantly fuel a house fire. In case of any fire, DO NOT hesitate to dial 911 and always have a planned escape route and family meeting location outside of the house. Be safe, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!
