Last weekend at 20:15 hours, Long Valley Fire was dispatched to an oven fire with extension in the kitchen off Old Farmers Road. Crews from Engine 1-1 and Cascade 1-3 were able to shut off the utilities and extinguish the flames before significant damage occurred. As crews were clearing, a second call went out for a motor vehicle accident. Both Engine 1-1 and Cascade 1-3 returned to Quarters just after 22:30 hours.
