Valentine's Day Wish Come True

On Saturday February 14th, The Long Valley Fire Company and other fire departments from Morris County and Somerset County participated in a small parade outside the Brookside (Mendham Twp) Firehouse. The parade was organized by the Brookside Fire Company for a young boy battling a life-threatening illness. The Brookside Fire Company sent out requests to neighboring fire companies to attend the parade. At least 50 pieces of apparatus attended the parade, during a widespread snow storm, and showed their support for the young boy. It was a wish come true for the young boy.
